  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 2/3 c. water

Directions

    Beat 6 egg whites with 1 teaspoon cream of tartar until very stiff.

    Mix all other ingredients together and add to egg whites. Bake at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes in an ungreased tube pan. Invert cake when done.
