- brinjals : 4-5
- green chillies : 4-5
- curry leaves : A few
- cumin seeds Jeera : 1/2 tsp
- curd : 1.5 cups
- salt : to taste
- oil : 1 tsp
- asafoetida : A pinch
Directions

1Cut brinjal into medium sized chunks

2Heat oil in pan and then add cumin seeds to splutter

3Now add Curry leaves and asafoetida and fry for a min

4Add green chillies and fry for another minute. This time I have just made a slit to the lengthy greed chillies and fried them. You can add then in finely chopped form also.

5Add brinjal and fry until soft.

6Switch off the stove and then allow the mixture to cool

7Once cooled add salt and curd and mix well.

8Dahi Baingan is ready to serve.
