- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. orange marmalade or raspberry jam
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2In mixing bowl cut cream cheese and butter into flour until mixture looks coarse.

3Add milk all at once.

4Stir just until dough clings together.

5Knead gently on floured surface 4 to 5 strokes.

6Roll or pat to less than 1/2 inch thick.

7Cut with biscuit cutter.

8To make daisy, make 6 slits around edge of each biscuit to within 1/4 inch from center.

9Place on baking sheet.

10Press down center with thumb; spoon 1/2 teaspoon marmalade or jam in center.

11Bake 10 minutes.

12Makes 11 or 12 biscuits.
