  • 1 1/2 chopped tomatoes with their juice
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 1 or 2 jalapeno chilies, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
