  • 2 qt. flowers
  • 3 gal. water
  • 9 lb. sugar
  • 2 yeast cakes
  • 3 lb. raisins

Directions

    Put sugar and water together and boil.

    Pour over blossoms while hot.

    When cool, add yeast cakes.

    Put all in a big crock, if available.

    Let stand for 9 (nine) days, stirring every morning.
