- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 10 to 12 sliced apples
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg white
- cornflakes
Directions

1Mix flour, butter and salt. Mix yolk with milk and add to flour mixture. Roll out half the dough and line bottom and sides of a 12 x 17-inch pan. Sprinkle with cornflakes. Top with apples. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of apples. Roll remaining dough and seal on top. Beat egg whites until frothy and brush on crust. Bake at 375° for 50 minutes. Combine 1 cup powdered sugar and a little milk and drizzle on top while still warm.
