- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. flour
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 baked pie shell
Directions

1Mix together the sugar and flour.

2Add the milk and cook in double boiler until thick, about 15 minutes.

3Remove from heat and add beaten egg yolks.

4Mix cocoa with enough boiling water to make a paste.

5Add paste to mixture in double boiler.

6Return to heat and cook until thick.

7Remove from heat.

8Add butter and vanilla. Cool and pour in baked pie shell.

9Top with meringue.

10Brown in 325° oven.
