- dash of salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. sour milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Grease and flour two (8-inch) cake pans.

2Mix together the oleo, salt, eggs and sugar.

3Sift together and add the flour, cocoa and baking soda.

4Add sour milk, vanilla and boiling water. Pour into pans and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
