- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. dates, cut up
- 1 egg
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Add sugar, dates and beaten egg.

3Cook about 20 to 30 minutes until dates are fine.

4Remove from stove; add Rice Krispies, vanilla and nuts.

5Let cool.

6Roll and shape.

7Roll in fine coconut.
