Ingredients

  • 1 c. oleo or butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Carnation milk
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. Rice Krispies
  • 2 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. coconut

Directions

    Beat eggs and sugar; add butter, milk and dates.

    Cook on low heat until melted and mixture leaves sides of pan.

    Remove from heat; add Rice Krispies, nuts and coconut.
  4. 4
    When cool to handle, shape into balls and roll in coconut, if desired.
