Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

    Cook margarine, sugar and dates over low heat, stirring constantly until melted.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.

    Add 2 cups Rice Krispies and 1 cup chopped nuts.

    Let cool.

    Roll into small balls in confectioners sugar. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
