- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. dates
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- powdered sugar or coconut
Directions

1Melt margarine on medium to low heat.

2Add sugar and egg. Cook slow for 10 minutes, stirring constantly, being careful not to scorch.

3Add dates and cook until mixture thickens.

4Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies and nuts.

5Mix well.

6Shape into balls.

7Roll in powdered sugar or coconut.
