- 1 c. oleo
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. cut up dates
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 5 c. Rice Krispies
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
- shredded coconut
Directions

1Melt oleo and sugar together.

2Add dates and bring to a boil. Add eggs and milk to date mixture and boil for 2 minutes.

3Cool slightly (15 minutes), then add Rice Krispies, salt, vanilla and nuts.

4Cool.

5Form into balls when you are able to roll them in your hand.

6Roll in flaked or shredded coconut.
