- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- flaked coconut
Directions

1Melt butter in heavy saucepan.

2Add dates, sugar, eggs and salt.

3Cook about ten minutes, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Remove from heat; add cereal, nuts and vanilla.

4With tablespoon, form into ball and roll in flaked coconut.

5Refrigerate.
