- 3 c. brown sugar
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 cube butter
- 2 c. canned milk
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. chopped dates
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put sugar, butter and milk in saucepan.

2Cook at medium heat; stir well until soft ball stage.

3Add nuts and dates; cook to soft ball stage again.

4Add vanilla; beat until cool.

5Pour into bowl lined with clean, damp cloth.

6Cool completely and refrigerate. Cut into bite size pieces to serve.
