Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. pecans
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. Rice Krispies
  • coconut

Directions

    Cook ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes or until thick.

    Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3 cups of Rice Krispies.

    Roll into bite size balls and roll in coconut.
