- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. plain dates, chopped fine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 can coconut
Directions

1Melt butter, add sugar, beaten egg and dates. Cook for a few minutes until dates soften.

2Remove from heat.

3Add vanilla,

4nuts and rice cereal.

5Cool slightly.

6Shape into fingers and roll into coconut.

7Yield: 3 to 4 dozen.
