Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. coconut (Angel Flake)

Directions

    Combine dates, butter and sugar in a saucepan.

    Cook until blended well (about 5 minutes).

    Mixture will become clear.

    Let cool slightly.

    Remove from heat.

    Add orange juice, nuts and Rice Krispies.

    When mixture is cool enough to handle, form into balls the size of walnuts and roll in coconut (Angel Flake).

    Makes 24 balls.
