  • salt
  • 1 3/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 3/4 c. flour (not sifted)

Directions

    Mix all of the ingredients until smooth.

    Roll out to 3/16-inch thick and spread with date filling.

    Roll as for a jelly roll.

    Refrigerate overnight; slice and bake at 400° until golden brown, approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
