- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. chopped dates
- sweetened whipped cream
- 1 c. finely chopped nuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease square pan (9 x 9 x 2-inch).

3Beat eggs until light and fluffy.

4Gradually add sugar, beating until very thick.

5Mix in flour, baking powder and salt.

6Stir in dates and nuts.

7Pour into pan.

8Bake 30 minutes.

9Serve warm with whipped cream.
