Ingredients
- 3 c. raw fruit (apples, rhubarb, cherries, peaches, apricots)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar (depending on tartness of fruit)
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Pit, peel and slice fruit.

2Mix together and place in deep 8-inch baking dish with the white sugar and lemon juice.

3Bake at 375° until fruit is tender (about 45 minutes for apples).

4With pastry blender, mix together flour, brown sugar, oil and cinnamon until it is crumbly.

5Place atop cooked fruit and continue to bake until brown and bubbly.

6Top each serving with ice milk or sherbet.
