Ingredients
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 2 Tbsp. dry yeast
- 2 tsp. honey
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 6 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Mix together water and yeast.

2Let stand 5 minutes.

3Stir in honey, salt and oil.

4Add 3 cups of flour; beat until smooth.

5Add last 3 cups of flour and knead until barely firm.

6Let stand 10 minutes.

7Roll out and stretch to cover bottom and 1 1/2 inch sides of a large iron frying pan.

8Let rise 10 minutes.

9Cover with favorite toppings.

10Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 25 minutes. Best when baked in a wood stove.
