- 2 or 3 lb. deer meat
- 2 large onions
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Brown meat; cut into pieces in bacon fat.

2Add 2 large onions, sliced.

3Continue browning.

4When nicely browned, stir in 3 tablespoons flour.

5Place in baking dish and add vinegar, catsup, sugar and salt and pepper to taste.

6Cover meat with water and bake at 375° for 2 to 3 hours or until tender, adding water as needed to keep meat covered.

7When done, thicken gravy and serve.
