Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground deer meat (can use other ground meat)
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 2 lb. potatoes
  • 1 to 2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown meat, onions, salt and pepper; drain.

    Add beans and soup; mix well.

    Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Peel potatoes and cook until tender; mash, using butter and milk.

    Pour meat mixture into casserole pan; drop spoonfuls of potatoes on top. Make sure to leave openings in the middle for steam to escape. Bake at 350° until potatoes start to brown.
