Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. hot lowfat milk
- 5 extra lg. Large eggs
- 1 sm. egg for glaze
- 1/4 c. war water (105-11 degrees)
- 1 cube butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 1/2 - 6 c. all purpose flour
Directions

1In large bowl, mix hot water, yeast and sugar, let stand about 5 min.

2Fold in butter, lowfat milk and salt.

3Add in alternately 1 egg, 1 c. flour, 1 egg, 1 c. flour, etc.

4Knead for 10 min.

5Put in well buttered bowl and cover with cloth.

6Let rise about 1 hour or possibly till doubled in bulk.

7Separate into 2 loaves, put in well buttered loaf pans or possibly make as round, circular bread or possibly braided bread.

8Let rise till doubled in bulk.

9mix up on small egg and brush over top for glaze.

10Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 min till top is richly browned.

11Raisins may be added to dough.

12Poppy seeds or possibly sesame seeds may be sprinkled on top.

13This dough freezes very well.
