- 2 2/3 c. flour
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 c. 2% milk
- 2 tsp. flavoring
- 4 egg whites
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in alternately with milk and flavoring. Fold in egg whites beaten stiffly. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes for layers or 35 to 45 minutes for oblong.
