- 2 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. lard or margarine
- 1/2 c. mashed potatoes
- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- flour
Directions

1Pour milk in large bowl with lard or margarine, potatoes and sugar.

2Let cool to lukewarm.

3Add dissolved yeast, then add enough flour to make consistency of biscuit dough.

4Set aside one hour. At this point, dough can be stored in refrigerator for several days.

5Pinch out biscuits when wanted.

6When taken from refrigerator, need to let rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour; bake at 350°.
