  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 pieces celery
  • 1 doz. large raw clams
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. milk or clam juice
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • parsley to taste
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Grind eggs, onion, celery and raw clams.

    Mix bread crumbs, milk or juice from clams, butter, parsley and pepper all together. Put mixture into halved shells and top with bread crumbs.

    Bake at 400° for about 20 minutes.

    This also freezes well unbaked in shells.
