Deviled Crab Cakes

- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 2 c. crab meat (mixture of breast and claw meat)
- 1 1/2 c. Progresso Italian style bread
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- basil leaves and red pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute onions in butter until clear.

2Combine remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly and form into patties or stuff into cleaned crab shells.

3Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes until browned.

4May be frozen on a cookie sheet uncooked, then kept frozen in freezer bags until ready to thaw and bake.
