- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- parsley
- 2 c. crab meat
Directions

1Melt butter and margarine.

2Stir in flour, then add milk and cook until thick and bubbly.

3Mix the remaining ingredients with the pasty mixture and pat into cakes.

4Bread cakes in flour, egg and bread crumbs in that order.

5Fry in hot oil until brown and firm, turning once.

6Set on paper towel to soak up oil.
