  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 c. tart apples, diced fine

Directions

    Put oil, sugar and beaten eggs into a bowl.

    Sift together flour, spices and baking powder.

    Add to mixture.

    Add vanilla and apples last.

    Turn into a greased angel food pan.

    Bake at 325° for about 1 hour.

    Dust with confectioners sugar just before serving.
