  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder

    Cream shortening and sugar.

    Add egg and flavoring.

    Beat good.

    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.

    Add 2 cups of cookie or cake crumbs and add flour.

    Mix all together and line cake pan with pie dough.

    After pouring cake dough in pie crust, fold pie dough over top and bake like cake.
