- 1/2 c. butter or substitute
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Add salt and vanilla. Work in flour gradually.

3Stir in chopped walnuts.

4Chill.

5Shape into small balls.

6Bake on ungreased sheet at 350° for 15 to 17 minutes.

7Cool three minutes and roll in powdered sugar.

8Cool on rack.

9Dust again in sugar.

10Good for Christmas time.
