Ingredients
- 1 lb. 90% ground beef or turkey
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- dash of salt and pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms or fresh mushrooms
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
- 6 oz. cottage cheese
- 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Saute onion and ground meat.

2Add seasonings, tomato sauce and mushrooms.

3Squeeze liquid from thawed spinach and mix with cottage cheese.

4Cut Mozzarella cheese in strips.

5In a 7 x 11-inch baking dish, arrange in layers the spinach mix, meat mix and Mozzarella; repeat.

6Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
