Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast, in 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. cottage cheese, warmed
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tsp. dill weed and 1 tsp. dill seed or 3 tsp. either one
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 c. flour

    Mix all ingredients in large bowl.

    Cover.

    Let double in size (1 to 1 1/2 hours) in warm kitchen.

    Stir down.

    Pour into greased pan.

    Let rise 40 to 75 minutes until doubled.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

    While hot, brush with butter.
