- 1 qt. apple cider vinegar
- 1 c. pickling salt
- 3 qt. water
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. pickling spice
- 2 Tbsp. dill seed
- cucumbers, sliced
Directions

1Bring all ingredients to a boil for 15 minutes.

2Pack cucumbers in jars.

3Add the following to each jar:

41 dill leaf, 1 dill head, 3 cloves garlic, 1 teaspoon dill seed, 1 pod hot pepper and 1/4 teaspoon alum.

5Then pour hot mixture over cucumbers.

6Seal and turn jars upside-down overnight.
