- 3/4 lb. fresh green beans
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. fresh dill, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. ground savory
Directions

1In 3-quart saucepan, boil water, vinegar and dill.

2Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

3Drain and set aside.

4Saute onions in butter until tender.

5Stir in green beans, salt and savory.

6Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes; stir continuously.
