- 1 pkg. dry yeast, soften in 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 unbeaten egg
Directions

1Combine yeast and warm water.

2Set aside.

3Combine all remaining ingredients together.

4Add the softened yeast.

5Add 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups sifted flour.

6Cover and let rise until doubled in size.

7Stir dough down.

8Turn into well-greased 2-quart casserole. Let rise until light.

9Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes.

10Brush with butter and sprinkle with kosher salt.
