- 2 pkg. yeast (dry)
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 c. cottage cheese, lukewarm
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 3 tsp. dill seed
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 unbeaten eggs
- 5 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in water.

2Combine yeast in mixing bowl with cottage cheese and remaining ingredients.

3Add flour gradually to form stiff dough.

4Stir well after each addition, then place in greased bowl to rise until double (it took mine about 3 to 4 hours in warm place, not in draft).

5Punch down and shape in 2 loaves. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes; run margarine over top of loaf as you turn off oven.

6Turn onto rack or tea towel to cool.
