- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 3 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Mix yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/2 cup warm water.

2Let rise until cup is full.

3Scald milk; cream together butter and sugar, then beaten eggs and salt.

4Add milk with flour and beat after each addition.

5Add yeast and beat well again.

6Turn out on floured board and knead until satiny.

7Place in greased bowl; cover and set in warm place to rise until double in bulk (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours).

8Knead again and cut into rolls.

9Let rise again until ready to bake.

10Bake in 350° oven until golden brown.
