Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. milk (whole)
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.

2Combine milk and water, butter and salt in saucepan.

3Bring to lukewarm.

4Add yeast and egg.

5Stir in flour to form soft dough.

6Beat vigorously. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size.

7Punch down and make into rolls.

8Place in pan and let rise to top of pan.

9Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until medium brown. Take from oven and butter tops.

10Place rolls onto a clean towel and let cool.
