Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. hot, 1 c. cold water
  • 6 c. flour (scant)
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix yeast with water; cream Crisco and sugar.

    Add eggs.

    Add flour and salt alternately with water.

    Let rise until double. Make into balls, dip into melted butter.

    Put 2 or 3 balls in greased muffin pans.

    Bake at 350° 15 to 20 minutes.

    When removed from pans, pour melted butter over rolls.

    These can be refrigerated before the dough rises.
