Ingredients

  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. coconut
  • 2 c. nuts, chopped (pecans)
  • 1 c. chopped and drained maraschino cherries
  • 12 oz. pkg. chocolate or butterscotch chips
  • 1 block paraffin wax
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients well.

    Add coconut, nuts and cherries. Mix well and refrigerate until chilled.

    Roll into balls (about the size of a ping pong ball).

    Insert a toothpick in each one. Place on wax paper, on a cookie sheet and freeze.

    Dip in chocolate or butterscotch.

    Place chocolate or butterscotch, paraffin and butter in top of double boiler (don't allow water to boil).
