- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. Karo corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 egg white, beaten stiff
- 1/2 c. black walnuts
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. coconut
Directions

1Boil sugar, corn syrup and water together until it spins a thread (240°), or until it forms a firm ball when dropped in cold water.

2Beat egg white until stiff and pour syrup mixture slowly into egg white.

3Beat rapidly until all syrup mixture is added to egg white.

4Fold in nuts, raisins and coconut.

5Beat constantly until mixture stands alone.

6Drop by teaspoonful on waxed or oiled paper.

7Serve when cold.
