Ingredients

  • 4 c. sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook in a double boiler.

    Cook sugar, syrup and water until a hard ball forms when dropped in cold water.

    Pour cooked mixture over beaten egg whites (that have been beaten stiff).
  4. 4
    Add nuts and vanilla and beat until it starts to harden.
  5. 5
    Drop by spoonful onto wax paper.
