Directions

   Combine sugar and syrup in saucepan.

   Cook until mixture makes hard ball in bowl of water.

   Beat egg whites stiff.

   Then add rest of mixture, a little at a time, and beat.

   Add nuts and stir. Drop on wax paper with spoon.
