- 2 2/3 c. white sugar
- 2/3 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in saucepan.

2Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved, then cook, without stirring, to 260°.

3Remove from heat and pour, beating constantly, in egg whites.

4Add vanilla and continue beating until mixture holds its shape and becomes slightly dull.

5Fold in nuts.
