Ingredients
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1 c. hot potato water
- 1 c. melted lard or Crisco
- 2/3 c. sugar
- flour, enough for stiff dough
- 1 pkg. Fleischmann's yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Directions

1Stir together potatoes, hot potato water, lard and sugar. Cool.

2Add yeast dissolved in water.

3Mix together and let set for 2 hours.

4Add salt, eggs and flour.

5Mix well and knead on floured board.

6Put in refrigerator overnight.

7When ready to use, roll out about 1/2 inch thick.

8Place in greased pan, also greasing each biscuit.

9Put in warm place and let rise 2 or 3 hours.

10Bake in moderate oven.
