- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut and drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) creamed small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef in large frypan; drain fat.

2Stir tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper into ground beef.

3Heat to boiling.

4Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.

5Cook lasagna noodles; drain well.

6Alternate layers of noodles, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, meat sauce and Parmesan cheese in ungreased 11 x 7-inch pan or 9-inch square pan.

7Cover and refrigerate.

8Bake, uncovered, at 350° until hot and bubbly, about 40 minutes.

9Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
