- 1/2 large size yeast cake
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Melt yeast in 2 cups warm water.

2Add flour and mix well with a wooden spoon.

3Cover and let set 1/2 hour.

4Add salt and let set until double in bulk.

5Batter will be soft and sticky.

6Drop batter by tablespoon in hot fat at 350°.

7Brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.

8Dust with 10x sugar.
